Our six selfcatering Scottish lodges are constructed of solid spruce and are provided with south facing verandas and located on a peaceful site with views towards the Trossachs. They are available for weeklyrental throughout the year. Shorter breaks are available during the period November to March. There is ample parking space and all pathways are lit at night.

These Scottish self catering log cabins (lodges) can accommodate up to 4 persons plus 2. The lodges are carpeted throughout, heated and with double glazing. There are 2 bed-rooms, onebeing double and the other twin. An extra 2 persons can be acommodated for a small extra charge on the chesterf:eld sofa in the sitting room which converts to a double bed. Each Lodge has a bathroom with a shower over and a separate toilet and basin. The open plan living area comprises a sitting area with sofa, easy chairs and a colour TV with DVD/CD player and Freeview box. The dining area has a table and 6 chairs, the kitchen is all electric with a washer/dryer for clothes, full size cooker, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, plus all the usual kitchen equipment.

All linen, badding and towels are provided free of charge including kitchen and hand towels. We can supply a cot and high chair no extra cost, but please bring your own cot linen.

Heating is by electricity, which is metered and guests pay for what they use at the end of their visit at the standard supplier rate.

Lodges all have wonderful outlooks, and we have many lovely walks in the area, both gentle and level along the old railway trackbed, now a well drained walkway and cycleway, to more challenging hill climbs and lots in between. Visitors can walk, cycle, and pony ride. Callander's leisure activity centre has a pool, fitness centre, climbing wall, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, indoor bowls, and outdoors there is tennis and football.

Easy Accessibility.
McNab Lodge is now modified to assist guests with limited mobility. MacNab Lodge has a low entry profile shower area in place of a bath. The shower has a hinged seat and grab handles to assist with entering and leaving the shower.
There is parking for one car outside McNab Lodge and a ramp to the sundeck (uninterrupted views to Ben Ledi and the west) for ease of access for wheelchairs. Thereafter all is on the one level.

2008 Tariff per week

Prices range from £430 per week in the winter to £740 in the summer for up to 4 people for the whole cottage. A further 2 people can be accommodated on the put-you-up in the sitting room, the extra charge is £50 for each extra person per week.

We require a deposit of £250 on booking and the balance to be with us 4 weeks before guests' arrival. We accept payment by card, Access, VISA, MasterCard or cheque.
