Wedding season in Callander

Although it may not seem like it, it is summer and therefore, wedding season here in Scotland. 

Over the years, we’ve been delighted to provide wedding accommodation for many wonderful couples celebrating their big day in Callander and the surrounding areas. 

Whether the main event has taken place locally, in beautiful venues like Venachar Lochside or slightly further away, in the spectacular Gleneagles hotel, we’re happy to provide accommodation for both the wedding party and guests. 

For the wedding party

Set in the stunning backdrop of Leny Hills, there really is no better place to get ready for your big day. 

With each lodge, cottage and cabin featuring a great outdoor space, start the day with breakfast outside, overlooking the stunning landscape, taking a moment to relax with your bridesmaids or groomsmen before the day begins! 

All of our accommodation have great, open common spaces for getting ready and plenty of room for makeup artists and hairdressers to set up for the day ahead. Our slightly larger cottages mean the entire bridal party can get ready in one place and stay the night before in preparation for the big day! 

Enjoy extra time in your wedding car, as you travel down our long, winding driveway, towards the ceremony, surrounded by Scottish landscape and wildlife.  

For the guests 

Again, Leny Estate is a great place to start your day as a wedding guest in Callander, so stay the night before and make the most of your stay in our beautiful town. 

Enjoy an al fresco breakfast to start the day, get ready without the rush and most importantly for the ladies, don’t risk crushing your outfit by staying at home and travelling by car. 

When the festivities are over, retire to the comfort of your cosy lodge, cabin or cottage for a night cap and a good night’s sleep. 

If you’re awake early enough the next day and fancy exploring, there are some wonderful walking trails around the estate and if not, simply enjoy a coffee in the morning sunshine! If you’re celebrating your big day or attending a wedding in Callander in the future, we’d be happy to welcome you to Leny Estate for a stress-free and relaxing stay. 

We will have a stall at the Venachar Lochside’s wedding showcase weekend on Sat 10^th, Sun 11^th August.  We will be able to give out brochures, answer questions and take bookings on the day!
